Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum stay?
We rent by the month, with a lease. The minimum stay is 3 months.
What do I pay when I arrive?
The deposit, equal to one month’s rent, and the first month (prorated if you move in mid-month). The deposit is returned within 30 days after you hand back the room.
What does the price include?
Your furnished room, Wi-Fi, scheduled cleaning of shared areas and their supplies. Electricity, water, gas and dryer are paid separately, at cost, as shared utilities.
Can I have guests?
Yes. Daytime visitors are welcome. A guest can stay up to 2 nights in a row and up to 6 nights a month per resident, with notice.
Can I smoke or have pets?
No smoking or vaping inside the house. Pets only with prior written permission.
What if I need to leave early?
You can end the lease by giving 30 days’ written notice.
Can I rent for just a few days?
No. Madhouse is a home to live in: monthly leases only.
